Fun day at Manila Ocean Park

Before heading to Ilocos for our adventure in Ilocandia, we spent a day at Manila Ocean Park. This oceanarium is in front of Rizal Park near Manila's kilometer zero. In here you have a lot of tourist attractions and ocean encounters to choose from.


Shark and Rays Encounter

Sharks and sting rays are located just beside Hotel H2O. Sting rays have large bodies and their venoms can harm people. One interesting fact about them is that they are closely related to sharks. Bamboo sharks are found in Manila Ocean Park and their sharp teeth can kill humans. We are required to put on proper attires, life vest and aqua shoes for protection.

Trails to Antartica

This is the first world-class facility park in our country. It gives us a walkthrough of how it is like in a frozen continent of Humboldt penguins and an additional Christmas village.


Yexel's Museum

It is the biggest toy museum that I have ever been. If you are an avid fan of Star Wars, anime and video game characters then you should not miss this toy museum in your bucket-list. There are majestic life-sized movie characters; Lightning McQueen of the movie Cars and the illuminating heart of Marvel's Ironman Tony Stark. I remember on the hallway you can hear iconic lines of the great Optimus Prime.

The Jelly Fish Exhibit

Jellyfishes are some of the most beautiful creatures of the ocean. The dancing sea fairies are
gracefully gliding with multi-media effects and breathtaking music.


World of Creepy Crawlies

Face your fears when you marvel the magnitude of their world. There are fun facts on the importance of iguanas and reptiles in the earth's ecosystem. 

Birds of Prey

This a unique bird sanctuary of Philippine bird species Lawin and Banog.


The Penguin Talk

You will learn how penguins communicate to each other. There is a visual and vocal display of a penguin's physical behavior.

The Symphony of Lights

This is a merry fusion of water and light to ignite Manila evening skies.

Precious Tea House - a cozy hub for students and professionals

Precious Tea House is a small tea shop in the urban town of Minglanilla that primarily serves milk tea and snacks as well. Milktea is a drink that originated in Taiwan but is becoming popular in other Asian countries.  Milktea is a healthy snack for its favorite ingredient milk is combined with different sinkers. Precious flavors include; cream cheese, hokkaido, double dutch, oreo, strawberry, cappucino and caramel. They also serve fruit shakes such as mango and avocado float. They also have our favorite snack french fries and panini which is an Italian sandwich made of bread.  Among other tea shops nearby, I choose this as a go-to place to have my interviews because of its inspiring atmosphere and friendly business owner. I find this nest as a potential venue for professionals to host client meetings because they offer free wifi connection. 4D3N Boracay - Islas de Gigantes Itinerary

One summer in 2016, we were blessed to explore and experience two of the most visited island destinations in Western Visayas; Boracay Island and Isla de Gigantes . Let me share with you how we did it and here is our 4D3N itinerary. We first flew from Mactan Cebu International Airport to Kalibo , the gateway to Boracay. We then rode a van to Caticlan Jetty Port and ride the boat going to the island. There is a direct flight from Cebu to Caticlan but is more expensive.
