Pagudpud: Pride of the North

Located at the north tip of Luzon facing the South China sea is the fourth class municipality of Pagudpud. A lot of people come to visit Pagudpud because it is the home of many tourist attractions.

Saud Beach

Saud beach is dubbed as the Boracay of the North because of the view of the windmills. The sand is not as fine as Boracay but the waters of South China Sea is magnificently blue.

Patapat Viaduct

This elevated road 30 meters above sea level connecting Laoag to the Cagayan Valley Region is one of the most scenic roads in the Philippines.

“Kapurpurawan” is an Ilocano term which means “white” which describes the color of this huge rock formation.

Cape Bojeador Lighthouse


Cape Bojeador Lighthouse or also known as Burgos lighthouse is a cultural heritage structure built during the Spanish colonization period and is still preserved up to this date.

4D3N Boracay - Islas de Gigantes Itinerary

One summer in 2016, we were blessed to explore and experience two of the most visited island destinations in Western Visayas; Boracay Island and Isla de Gigantes . Let me share with you how we did it and here is our 4D3N itinerary. We first flew from Mactan Cebu International Airport to Kalibo , the gateway to Boracay. We then rode a van to Caticlan Jetty Port and ride the boat going to the island. There is a direct flight from Cebu to Caticlan but is more expensive.
