How to go to Siargao
Cebu Pacific has direct flights from Mactan Cebu International Airport to Sayak Airport. From the port, you can ride a tricycle or van that will take you to General Luna.
Another option to reach Siargao is to take an overnight boat from Cebu City Terminal Wharf 1 to Surigao City Wharf. Then ride a boat from Surigao City to Dapa Port. In Dapa, get a motorcycle ride to General Luna. Motorcyle fare is Php 200. Upon arriving in General Luna, environmental fees are collected to maintain the island.

Where to Stay
Travel Tips: Book your accomodation in advance especially during peak season. Most resorts and accomodations were already full when we arrive at General Luna. We stayed at a fan room that's straight ahead Yay Lodge near the Yoga Dojo sign. Their room rates are: Php 8000 for monthly accommodation or Php 600 per night. We thought of it as a good deal since the room already has its own mini kitchen where you can cook and a dining table. You may contact the owner at 09295720121.
Day 1
Island Hopping to Three Nearby Islands
The cost of one boat and the guide is Php1200. The guide will already take you to these three island hopping destinations:
Naked Island
This sandbar is a beach destination composed of fine white sand and cool clear waters.
Daku Island
This island is a perfect tropical destination because of its white sand, emerald waters and swaying coconut trees.
Guyam Island
This island has emerald glass-like waters that are shallow enough to walk during low-tide.
The Cloud 9
Siargao is known for excellent surf breaks, the Cloud 9 in particular. We spent the rest of the afternoon watching the surfers at Cloud 9. Never miss to take surfing lessons because your Siargao experience will not be complete without it. One can spend the night at Cloud 9 because this is where you can have the best view of the night sky.
Day 2
Magpupungko Tidals Flats and Lagoon
We spent our day two in the island at Magpupungko. Motorcycle ride to the lagoon usually costs Php 1000 but Kuya Lando offered it to us for Php 700. You may contact him at 09199774030. This group of tidal lagoons can only be visible during high tide. You can also choose to swim at Magpupungko Beach or on the other beach, Pacifico. These beaches directly face the Pacific Ocean.
